Vince's Hive Weighing Tool

Fellow Beekeeper Vince recently produced a video of how he made (and uses) a hive weighing tool.

It's handy to know the weight of bee hives for a couple of reasons: to know if they have enough honey to overwinter in your climate, if they're bringing in honey or consuming more than they can forage for, etc.

Vince's tool is both easy to make and easy to use. Take a look for yourself in his video below.
