Crowded Landing Board Video

One evening I came home from work to discover a bunch of bees trying to land in the hive all at once.

There was so many of them they had to hover and wait their turn before landing.

This only went on for about 10-15 minutes.




The video got kind of shaky about 30 seconds in since I didn't have my tripod handy, so I edited it to only show the first 20 seconds or so.

This was also my first attempt at shooting, editing and posting video. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it, and post video more often!

Isn't it fun watching them hover like that?!  Sometimes I add my own dialogue:

"Watch out!"  "My turn!"  "Hey, You budged, get back in line!"  "Hurry up, my load is heavy!"  "Scoot over!"

I love it!

Now when I see them hovering, all congested at the entrance, I can't help but wonder if they're thinking those same thoughts!
