Blue Hive Notices Their Super

I have to admit, I really didn't think there would be enough nectar flow left for the blue colored hive to start drawing out the super I added last week.

I figured they would look at that super and say: "you just took our syrup away and now you want us to do what?"

However when I checked on them over the weekend 8 super frames had about 15-20% drawn out on front and back.

With rain forecasted this week, maybe the nectar sources won't burn up in this St. Louis heat, and the bees can get another bit of nectar from them to finish building out their frames.

Not too bad at all for a first year nuc! In fact, I'm quite proud of the blue hive!
